The location

We are located in the seaside village of Stoupa, 40 minutes from Kalamata and 2.30 hours from Athens. Stoupa is the Messinia’s most famous tourist resort. The homonymous beach Stoupa and Kalogria beach attract tourists thanks to the cleanliness of their waters, the natural beauty and their excellent coasts. Our complex is only 1.5 km from Stoupa beach.

The village is relatively new and spreads to the foothills of Mount Taygetos, combining mountain and sea. Green and blue. A live painting that has it all. And it offers everything. Peace and relaxation. Tours and fun. From Stoupa you can tour to the surrounding areas and get to know the beauties of the Peloponnese.

But if you feel itchy feet, Maniatiko Village could also serve as an ideal base for exploring Mani – one of Greece’s most historic areas. The long coastline, enjoying natural shade from the tamarisk and pine trees, hides some of Peloponnese’s most renowned beaches: besides Stoupa and Kalogria, there is cozy Ritsa, Delfinia – where sand alternates with pebbles -, untouched Foneas, picturesque Pantazi, secluded Kalamitsi, and wild Katafygi.

However, beachside bliss is only the start; enjoy a host of outdoor activities – such as seaside walks, bicycle rides, mountaineering expeditions, etc. – or discover Southern Peloponnese: from Stoupa – the land of Zorba and so called Miami of Mani – and its Frankish Beaufort castle to, sir Patrick Leigh Fermor’s favorite, Kardamili (just 3km away), the stone villages of Western Taygetos (Thalames, Lagada, Proastio, Saidona and, Kastania), Vatheia village, the – dominated by the castle of Zarnata – Kampos, as well asnature’s miracles such asthe Cave of Diros, the Vassiliki Forest, the gorges of Viros and Rintomo, and so many more…

Mani is identical to tradition and history. Join us and experience the morals and the customs of the area, follow every path and explore more about Mani’s stormy history…
